Christmas at CELI

Happy faces, laughter, cheers of jubilation, sterling performances, and beautiful Christmas decorations were just some of the things that could be seen at Cleverlearn English Language Institute, Inc. campus as it had its yearly Christmas party last December 20, 2013 at its campus grounds. Students, teachers, and staff all felt the spirit of Christmas as they witnessed and participated in the various events during the celebration.

Students had the chance to personally experience how Christmas is celebrated in CELI and in the Philippines and were amazed by what they observed. There was much fun all night long. It started with the sumptuous meals prepared by CELI for everyone. After enjoying their dinner, the students, teachers, and staff were all amazed as they were treated with breathtaking dance numbers by the different departments of CELI such as the Academics Department, the HR Department, the Operations Department, the ESLOL Department, the IT Department, etc.

Also, prior to the party, the colored teams (yellow, red, blue, and green) composed of students, teachers, and staff competed among themselves in making the most beautiful Christmas lantern made of indigenous materials. Moreover, they also battled each other in decorating their assigned areas with fascinating Christmas decors and related concepts. The outcome was fabulous. Cleverlearn English Language Institute, Inc. campus was transformed into a place where children and adults could definitely feel the spirit of Christmas. It was a wonderful experience to those who participated or even passersby. The yellow team won the Christmas lantern making contest while the Green team placed first in the Christmas area decoration contest.

CELI’s employees also received Christmas presents from the management. There was also a raffle draw where lucky employees won special gift items. The Yellow Team was also declared as the overall champion for the year 2013.

The event ended with smiles from those who attended. It was a fantastic experience for them. This is one thing that Christmas can bring to everyone – happiness. And CELI will make itself a channel of joy every Christmas season and every single day to all its students and employees. This is Christmas at CELI!
