Jamaican Carribean Party

Cleverlearn English Language Institute Inc. campus seemed like a tropical island as it held its Jamaican/Caribbean themed party last July 12, 2013. 

Not only did the students, teachers, and staff look astonishing in their Jamaican/Caribbean outfit but were also very talented in showcasing their prowess in singing and dancing. Their wonderful presentations wowed the audience. 

Different groups rendered sterling performances. The red team presented a dance number headed by Miss Rose Ann Sablas and company. They were dancing so well that everyone couldn’t help but to admire the graceful dancers. The Yellow team composed of Russian, Taiwanese, and Japanese students with teachers and staff also rendered a hot dance number which got everyone cheering loudly.  The Green team had a fantastic song number and a modeling show. It was brilliantly executed that those who were around were left in awe. The blue team had a great song number that certainly added to the fun during the event. The ESLOL and the IT departments also showcased splendid performances of songs and dances that definitely set CELI campus into a festive mood. After all the fantastic presentations, a disco party followed where everybody grooved to lively music and had much fun.

Everybody had a great time. Students had the chance to communicate in English with fellow students, teachers, and staff. Truly, it was a memorable experience for everyone.

Enchanted Dreams in Cleverlearn

CELI Wonderland | Drama Fairy Tale

Cleverlearn English Language Institute Inc. campus became a “wonderland in a far away kingdom” you have heard from those fairy tales as it held “Drama - Fairy Tale” contest last June 28, 2013 at around 6:00 pm. The event was vigorously participated by the colored teams of CELI. 

It felt amazing to witness CELI’s colored teams put up such awesome presentations despite their hectic schedules. From the props, costumes, and individual acts, members of each colored group composed of students, teachers, and staff wowed the audience with such sterling performances. Everybody was so entertained that loud cheers and applauses could be heard after each team’s presentation.

The judges definitely had a hard time scoring the talented teams. The yellow team with its mixed fairy tale stories such as The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Mulan, etc. got the third place. The green team, also with its mixed fairy tale stories placed second. Finally, the red team, which showcased a very wonderful version of Cinderella, got the first place. But the biggest winners were the students who were given ample opportunities to practice their English skills as they had to memorize and deliver their lines in English. 

CELI will continue to provide interesting activities like this that enhance the students’ English skills because their improvement is CELI’s top priority.
